Birdsong Walks (1:1 or group)

What it is

Birdsong Walks are slow, attentive group walks that centre listening rather than identification. We walk together with an openness to birdsong and other environmental sounds, noticing how they arrive, overlap, and affect us moment to moment.

These walks are rooted in mindfulness and presence, not expertise. Birds are encountered as part of a living soundscape, not as subjects to catalogue.

What to expect

Walks are gentle and unhurried, with periods of quiet walking, pausing, and listening. You’re invited to notice birdsong, footsteps, wind, and the subtle ways sound and place interact with the body and attention.

No prior experience is needed. There’s no requirement to identify species or names, simply a willingness to listen and notice.
