    We bring people together to slow down, connect with nature, and learn through birdwatching and art in Barcelona and the surrounding areas.

    The same goes for sketching: no artistic experience is needed.

    Most people start somewhere. We'll help you notice birds, use simple identification tips, and enjoy observing together.

  • It is recommended to bring binoculars with you to get the full experience.

    If you don’t have binoculars, it’s okay too! Many people begin by simply watching with their eyes.

    Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia are home to hundreds of species, so every walk is a little different.

    Nature Sketch and Birds & Brushes are about slowing down and observing: not creating perfect artwork.

    Creative events include shared materials.

    If you have favourite supplies, you're welcome to bring them.

  • If the weather makes an event unsafe or unpleasant, we'll reschedule or cancel it and let everyone know in advance.

  • The contributions help cover the costs of running Here Aware Nature Club, including Meetup, website hosting, shared materials, and organising future events.

    Keeping contributions low helps make the community accessible while allowing it to continue growing.

  • Shared art materials such as paper, pencils, acrylic markers, colored pencils, and watercolours.

    You're welcome to bring your own favourite materials too.

    If your plans change, please cancel as early as possible so someone else can take your place.
