A return visit to one of Barcelona's most rewarding wetland corners.

We're heading back to the Llobregat Delta — this time to Espais Naturals del Delta del Llobregat, a mosaic of wetlands, lagoons, and coastal scrub just south of the city. June means shorebirds, summer breeders, and the kind of early morning light that makes everything look cinematic. We'll walk at a slow pace with plenty of stops to watch, listen, and take it all in.

🚗 Coming by car? Meet us at Mirador de l'Aeroport del Prat (parking available) — just let me know in advance so we can coordinate timing.

• Binoculars if you have them

• Merlin app or a field guide

• Sun protection

• Layers — it can be breezy near the coast
